MG has strengthened its MG4 EV range for 2026, adding a new MG4 EV Urban alongside updated long-range and performance variants aimed squarely at drivers and fleets looking for affordable electric options.
The new MG4 EV Urban is positioned as a practical, family-friendly electric hatchback, with prices starting from £23,495. It’s designed to make EV ownership more accessible, offering strong interior space, competitive range and a generous standard tech package. Long Range Urban versions deliver up to 258 miles (WLTP) and can rapid charge 10 - 80% in around 30 minutes.

The wider MG4 EV range has also been refreshed. The Premium Extended Range, priced from £32,995, now offers 338 miles of range, making it the longest-range EV at its price point in the UK. At the top end, the MG4 EV XPOWER delivers 320kW, 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds, and remains priced at £33,995.
David Allison said the MG4 EV has achieved nearly 50,000 UK sales since launch, adding that the new Urban model “reconfirms our ability to make EV ownership ever-more accessible.”
All MG4 models are backed by a 7-year/80,000-mile warranty, supporting confidence for private and fleet buyers alike.
