ArrowXL extends tyre management deal after cutting usage by 25%

ArrowXL, the UK’s largest two-person home delivery specialist, has extended its partnership with Direct Tyre Management following measurable operational gains across its fleet.

Handling more than 2.6 million deliveries a year, ArrowXL relies on vehicle uptime to maintain service levels. Since the partnership began in 2022, tyre management has shifted from an operational challenge to a performance lever.

The results include a 25%+ reduction in tyre usage, alongside lower CO₂ emissions driven by more appropriate tyre selection. ArrowXL has also seen a significant drop in tyre-related breakdowns, helping keep delivery teams on the road and reducing disruption to customers.

Ian Pearson, Procurement Manager at ArrowXL, said: “The DTM technology platform provides us with increased fleet efficiency and a full audit trail… helping us increase our customer success rate, whilst allowing data driven decisions.”

The renewed two-year contract reflects the value of data-led tyre management in large, time-critical delivery operations.
