Audi has expanded into the full-size luxury SUV segment with the unveiling of the new Q9, a seven-seat flagship that combines premium comfort with advanced hybrid technology.
Expected to arrive in UK showrooms before the end of the year, the Q9 is aimed at drivers who regularly cover long motorway distances or require a spacious, high-end vehicle for executive transport. At launch, UK buyers will be offered a 3.0-litre V6 diesel with Audi's latest MHEV plus mild-hybrid system, delivering 299PS and 630Nm of torque while using electric assistance to improve efficiency and reduce emissions.

As Audi's largest production model to date, the Q9 offers seating for up to seven adults, a choice of six- or seven-seat layouts and a host of luxury features, including massage seats, adaptive air suspension, a panoramic roof and a 22-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Technology is equally impressive, with rear-wheel steering for improved manoeuvrability, a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems, ChatGPT-powered voice control and Android Automotive infotainment.
The combination of long-distance refinement, advanced safety technology and mild-hybrid efficiency should appeal to businesses looking for a premium alternative to the BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS and Range Rover while maintaining lower running costs than a traditional large-capacity petrol SUV.
