The number of new light commercial vehicles registered in the UK was up 3.0% to 351,834 units in 2024.

2024 saw an 8.3% drop in new double-cab pick-up registrations (down to 37,582 units). Due to the Government’s decision to tax double-cabs the same as cars for benefit in kind and capital allowances from April 2025, this number could fall dramatically further this year.
