Chery has unveiled Delivan, a new all-electric commercial vehicle brand, as it sets out plans to enter the European van market from 2027.
Revealed at the Commercial Vehicle Show, Delivan sits at the centre of Chery’s wider ‘Future Super Commercial Vehicle’ (FSCV) strategy. Rather than focusing on a single van, the brand is designed as a broader system that combines vehicles with charging, servicing, telematics and lifecycle support.
The first concepts give a sense of where this is heading. A compact ‘micro-cargo’ model is aimed at short, frequent trips in busy urban areas; the kind of driving that typically involves tight streets, regular stops and limited parking. There’s also a more experimental ‘robot-cargo’ concept, exploring how autonomous vehicles could be used in controlled environments like warehouses or campuses.
Instead of traditional model lines, Delivan is structured around three tiers. ‘Pro’ focuses on dependable, day-to-day usability, ‘X’ introduces more flexible, modular vehicle layouts, and ‘I’ looks ahead to more advanced, tech-led systems designed to improve efficiency and reduce running costs over time.
Chery says its European launch will begin in 2027, with more details on vehicles and specifications expected closer to release.
