Dacia's chunky new Bigster SUV has titchy price

Dacia has once again redefined the market, announcing that the highly anticipated Dacia Bigster will start at an on-the-road price of £24,995. The Bigster caters to the growing demand for larger, family-friendly vehicles, offering robust build quality, excellent equipment levels, and outstanding value at a time when consumers are facing rising costs.

Fleet Trends 2025 research shows that reducing costs is a strategic priority for 64% of  fleet managers. This makes cost-effective Dacias, and other 'budget-friendly' brands, like MG, more appealing options than ever before.

Available to pre-order now with a refundable £250 deposit on Dacia’s website, the Bigster combines distinctive design, spacious interiors, and modern technology. Its UK range includes three trims: Expression, Journey, and Extreme. All trim levels are priced under £30,000 and come equipped with features such as keyless entry, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, dual-zone air conditioning, alloy wheels, parking sensors, and intelligent driving aids like advanced emergency braking and lane keep assist.

The Expression trim, starting at £24,995, includes diamond alloy wheels, a split rear bench, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Journey, from £26,245, adds luxury features such as a powered tailgate and bespoke upholstery. For outdoor enthusiasts, Extreme, priced from £26,494, boasts a panoramic sunroof, roof bars, and rubber mats.

Powertrains include a new TCe 140 mild hybrid, a TCe 130 4x4 system, and an all-new hybrid 155 option with automatic transmission, offering efficiency and versatility. Buyers can choose from six stylish colours, including the exclusive Indigo Blue.
