Ford has announced seven new vehicles for Europe over the next three years as part of a major strategy reset designed to win back drivers and strengthen its position with fleets.
The new line-up will include:
Ford says the new passenger models will lean heavily into the brand’s rally heritage, with a focus on sharper driving dynamics and more distinctive styling as it looks to stand out against increasingly competitive Chinese rivals.
For fleets, though, the bigger story may be Ford Pro.
Ford says its connected uptime services delivered almost one million additional vehicle uptime days last year by using predictive maintenance and connected vehicle data to identify faults before breakdowns happen.
New Dealer Uptime Services will now allow Ford retailers to proactively contact fleets, prepare parts in advance and reduce repair times by up to 50%, with 80% of repairs identified proactively.
The broader strategy shows Ford increasingly positioning itself not just as a vehicle manufacturer, but as a fleet operations and productivity partner.
The rollout will begin with the Transit City electric van later this year, while most of the new passenger models are expected to arrive from 2028 onwards. Ford says the full seven-model line-up should be in place by the end of 2029.
