Leasing.com has highlighted a fresh set of lease deals this week, with a mix of compact SUVs and hatchbacks suited to everyday driving and some of the lowest total running costs on the market.

First up is the Vauxhall Mokka, a compact SUV that strikes a balance between size and comfort.
This 1.2 Turbo 136 Ultimate model is available from £233.24 per month on a 36-month personal contract hire agreement, with an initial rental of £2,798.88 and 10,000 miles per year.
For the average driver, this is the kind of car that fits neatly into a daily routine. It’s small enough to handle tight parking spaces at home or at the supermarket, but still gives you that slightly raised driving position that makes traffic feel easier to deal with. There’s enough room for the weekly shop or a couple of bags in the boot, and with around 50 mpg, it keeps fuel stops relatively manageable.

Next is the Chery Tiggo 7, which leans more towards space and comfort.
This 1.6T Summit automatic is available from £205.72 per month over 24 months, with £2,468.64 up front and 10,000 miles per year.
This is the one that suits drivers who just want a bit more room to work with. The larger boot makes it easier for things like big supermarket runs, luggage for weekends away, or everyday family use. Inside, it feels more like something you’d settle into for longer drives, while the automatic gearbox takes the stress out of stop-start traffic. It’s not the most fuel-efficient option here at around 40 mpg, but the extra space and lower monthly cost could make that trade-off worthwhile.

Finally, there’s the Volkswagen Polo, a familiar hatchback that continues to make sense for city and suburban driving.
This 1.0 TSI Match DSG comes in at £210.66 per month on a 36-month deal, with an initial rental of £2,527.92.
For everyday use, the Polo is about as straightforward as it gets. It’s easy to drive, easy to park, and efficient at around 50 mpg, which helps keep running costs down. It suits shorter commutes, quick trips across town, and drivers who don’t need a huge amount of space but still want something comfortable and well put together. The automatic gearbox adds to that ease, especially in busy traffic.
All deals are based on personal contract hire agreements with 10,000 miles per year, and can be adjusted depending on contract length or mileage needs.
