This week’s business lease deals cover three very different priorities: maximum practicality, everyday driving comfort, and another example of how quickly newer Chinese EV brands are entering the fleet market.

First up is the Ford Tourneo Connect, which continues to blur the line between MPV and van-based practicality.
This 2.0 EcoBlue Titanium automatic is available from £163.69 per month (exc. VAT) on a 36-month business lease, with an initial rental of £1,964.28 and 10,000 miles per year.

For drivers, this is all about space and flexibility. With over 1,200 litres of boot space and five seats, it’s the sort of vehicle that works well for drivers regularly carrying equipment, travelling with colleagues, or balancing work and family use in one vehicle. The higher roofline and upright driving position also make longer journeys feel less cramped than a traditional hatchback.

The diesel engine and claimed 51 mpg should help keep motorway running costs relatively manageable too, particularly for higher-mileage users not yet ready to move to EVs.

Next is the Cupra Leon, which remains one of the more driver-focused alternatives to a traditional fleet hatchback.

For everyday use, the Leon balances sporty styling with genuine practicality. There’s enough cabin and boot space for regular commuting and business travel, while the 1.5-litre petrol engine offers a sensible middle ground between performance and efficiency at close to 50 mpg.

The slightly firmer setup compared to some rivals means it feels a bit more engaging to drive, particularly on longer journeys or motorway routes, without becoming uncomfortable day to day. For drivers who still enjoy driving but need something practical enough for work use, it sits in a useful middle ground.

Finally, there’s the Changan Deepal S07, another sign of how quickly newer Chinese brands are moving into the UK lease market.
This 80kWh Ultra model is available from £217.78 per month (exc. VAT) on a 24-month contract, with £2,613.36 initial rental.

For drivers, this is very much positioned as a tech-focused electric SUV. The near-300-mile claimed range should comfortably cover most commuting and business mileage, while the larger SUV body gives it the sort of space and higher seating position many drivers now prefer.

As with several newer Chinese entrants, the biggest appeal is how much equipment and battery capacity you appear to get for the monthly cost. The trade-off, however, is familiarity. Long-term residual values and brand recognition remain less established compared to more traditional fleet choices.
