Mazda has confirmed UK pricing and specifications for the new Mazda6e, which will arrive in showrooms this summer as the brand’s latest battery electric model.
Offered in two trims - Takumi and Takumi Plus - the Mazda6e is priced from £38,995, with both versions staying below the £40,000 mark. Power comes from a new 78kWh LFP battery, delivering a 348-mile WLTP combined range. Rapid charging from 10-80% takes 24 minutes using a 195kW DC charger, supporting regular long-distance use.

The rear-wheel-drive Mazda6e produces 258ps, reaches 62mph in 7.9 seconds, and combines saloon-style looks with five-door hatchback practicality. Inside, drivers get a 14.6-inch touchscreen, augmented reality head-up display, a 336-litre boot, plus a 72-litre front storage compartment.
Jeremy Thomson, MD of Mazda UK, said the Mazda6e is “a real statement of intent” and will play a key role in Mazda’s growing D-segment BEV fleet offering.
