Mercedes-AMG has revealed an updated GLC 53 4MATIC+, designed to deliver a more engaging driving experience while remaining practical for everyday use.
At its heart is a reworked 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine producing 449hp, with a short-term power boost to 640Nm of torque when accelerating hard. That means stronger pull, faster reactions and a more distinctive engine sound. The SUV can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.2 seconds, putting it firmly in high-performance territory.

Power is sent through a nine-speed automatic gearbox and a smart all-wheel-drive system that can shift power between the wheels for grip, stability or sportier handling. For experienced drivers on closed tracks, a new Drift Mode allows the car to behave like a rear-wheel-drive vehicle.
