MINI Countryman Electric breaks the 300-mile barrier

MINI has extended the real-world appeal of its electric SUV, with the MINI Countryman Electric now offering more than 300 miles of range on a single charge. From March 2026 deliveries, the Countryman E will travel up to 307 miles (WLTP), while the Countryman SE ALL4 offers up to 287 miles (WLTP).

The range uplift comes from a series of efficiency upgrades, including a new silicon carbide inverter to reduce energy losses, a larger 65.2kWh usable battery, and friction-reduced front wheel bearings that cut rolling resistance. Together, these changes make the Countryman Electric more viable for longer journeys and higher-mileage use.

There is also a financial boost. Customers can now access the full £3,750 Electric Car Grant, further improving the value proposition for drivers considering the switch to electric.

With up to 1,450 litres of load space, Level 2 driver assistance features and MINI’s familiar crossover footprint, the Countryman Electric combines practicality with improved range and lower running costs. For fleets and drivers alike, it strengthens the case for electric without compromise.
