A newly launched national collision repair group is positioning itself as a response to one of fleets’ most persistent operational challenges: long vehicle off-road (VOR) times and fragmented repair coverage.
Precision Repair Group (PRG) brings together a growing number of established independent bodyshops under a single umbrella, with the stated aim of improving consistency, speed and service for fleet operators. The group’s footprint already stretches from Harrogate to London following investments in Alton Cars, Hilton Coachworks, Turners Accident Repair, HB Accident Repair Network and Fast Track ARC during 2025.
Its latest move is the addition of Diamond Spraying (DSL), marking PRG’s first step into a dedicated commercial fleet repair offering.
PRG’s expansion comes amid wider industry concern around extended repair lead times, parts delays and inconsistent service standards, particularly for vans and high-utilisation fleet vehicles. By allowing member businesses to retain their brand and local expertise while sharing group-level investment and procurement, PRG is positioning itself as a potential middle ground between independents and large national chains.
For fleet operators, the model may prove attractive if it delivers on its promise of reduced downtime and more predictable repair outcomes at scale.
