OPEX Logistics cuts admin time and fuel costs through DKV Mobility partnership

UK haulier OPEX Logistics has streamlined its cross-border fleet operations and reduced administrative overheads through a long-term partnership with DKV Mobility.

The Avonmouth-based firm, which operates more than 80 vehicles across the UK and Europe, has adopted DKV’s integrated platform to manage fuel purchasing, toll transactions and VAT reclaims under one system. The solution eliminates the need for multiple toll devices and invoices, saving OPEX both time and complexity as it scales its European work.

“A few years ago, drivers had several devices on their dashboards. Now, there’s just one box, and it works everywhere. It’s the simplest system we’ve seen on the market” said Stephen Kempton, General Manager at OPEX Logistics. “The all-in-one system gives us peace of mind. Our drivers know they’ll never get stuck, and our admin team knows invoicing will be straightforward.”

With DKV’s net invoicing and refund service, the fleet has improved cashflow visibility and reduced financial reconciliation time, while the DKV Box Europe enables seamless tolling across several countries.

OPEX says these operational efficiencies allow it to focus on service reliability and sustainability goals, with future plans to integrate renewable fuels and low-emission vehicles into its growing fleet.
