Renault has revealed details of three all-new electric vans – Trafic E-Tech, Goelette E-Tech, and Estafette E-Tech – designed to redefine the light commercial vehicle market. Built around the SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) architecture developed by Ampere, these fully electric vans promise flexibility, adaptability, and cutting-edge technology.
The new 'skateboard platform' enhances flexibility, ergonomics, and connectivity, allowing for extensive customization while reducing running costs. Renault highlights its 'high levels of safety and performance.'
The Trafic E-Tech electric features a one-box design, a short front overhang, and an extended wheelbase to maximise interior space while maintaining a Clio-like turning circle. Standing under 1.90m tall, it is designed for easy access to underground parking. Its styling includes a backlit logo, structured lines, and aerodynamic rear doors.
The Goelette E-Tech electric comes in chassis cab, box, and tipper variants, offering high adaptability. Its design allows for extensive modifications, making it ideal for commercial use.
The Estafette E-Tech electric, inspired by the Estafette Concept, is a compact city van (5.27m long, 1.92m wide, 2.60m high) designed for ease of movement inside. Features include a panoramic windscreen, sliding side door, ergonomic running boards, and a roller shutter rear door for optimal load space.
All three models will be built at Renault’s Sandouville plant in France, launching in 2026.
