Two launches this week point to faster, more data-led fleet operations, with a focus on digital journeys and predictive management.
Gateway2Lease has introduced a fully digital leasing process, allowing customers to select, configure and order vehicles online with real-time pricing. ID checks and contracts can be completed in minutes, with delivery as quick as 10 days for used vehicles. The platform retains a traditional enquiry option but expects digital orders to reach around 30% of volume.
Platforms such as FleetCheck and leasing providers including Zenith and Tusker (all FleetWise Trusted Brands) also invest in more digital, self-serve journeys.
Ctrack has meanwhile launched its Crystal platform in the UK, combining telematics, AI and predictive analytics in a single system. Features include driver behaviour monitoring, workflow automation and operational planning, alongside a driver communication app to support compliance and performance.
In telematics, providers such as Geotab and Targa Telematics are already combining tracking, analytics and automation to give fleets greater visibility and control.
