Vauxhall has launched a bold new incentive programme across its fully electric passenger car range, offering a £1,500 discount, 0% APR finance, and additional charging support to strengthen its position in the fleet and retail electric vehicle market.
Timed to coincide with the Government’s newly introduced Electric Car Grant (ECG), Vauxhall’s “Electric All In” campaign is designed to offer price clarity and lower entry barriers as fleet buyers assess eligible vehicles under the revised grant scheme.
The offer applies to all Vauxhall EVs priced below £37,000 – the threshold set by the Department for Transport (DfT) for ECG eligibility. Retail customers placing orders before 31 August 2025 will benefit from:
£1,500 off the recommended retail price (RRP)
0% APR finance over four years, subject to a 20% deposit
Up to £1,500 in deposit contributions
The Electric All In package, including:
-
£500 towards home or public charging infrastructure
-
10,000 miles of complimentary charging
This applies across the Corsa Electric, Mokka Electric, Astra Electric (hatch and Sports Tourer), and the new Frontera Electric. The Grandland Electric – while priced above the ECG threshold – also comes with a £2,500 deposit contribution and undercuts its hybrid counterpart on monthly payments.
Grant Eligibility Dependent on Sustainability Credentials
The ECG, announced in July, introduces a two-tier grant system based on the sustainability credentials of the vehicle manufacturer:
-
Band 1: Up to £3,750 for EVs from manufacturers with science-based targets (SBTs) and low embodied carbon
-
Band 2: Up to £1,500 for manufacturers meeting less stringent environmental benchmarks
Crucially, vehicles from OEMs without a verified SBT are excluded from the grant altogether, a move that places increased scrutiny on corporate sustainability commitments in fleet procurement decisions.
Commenting on the new offer, Steve Catlin, Managing Director of Vauxhall, stated:
“These new offers bring clarity now to customers who were waiting to see which vehicles were set to be eligible for the new Electric Car Grant – with customers able to save £1,500 across our entire electric car range, as well as benefit from attractive new PCP finance offers.
The switch to electric and onward running costs are also made lower thanks to our Electric All In package. We’re proud to offer a fully electric version of every car we make – and now there’s never been a better time to switch.”
Vauxhall’s strategy effectively pre-empts grant uncertainty while meeting the key criteria required for ECG access. By offering models well below the £37,000 cap and aligning with broader decarbonisation goals, the manufacturer positions itself strongly within the public sector, salary sacrifice, and SME fleet markets.
