Volkswagen cuts prices on key eHybrid models to boost plug-in appeal

Volkswagen has reduced prices across its Passat, Tiguan and Tayron eHybrid line-ups, making plug-in hybrid options more accessible for fleet and company car drivers.

From 4 February 2026, customers placing new factory orders can benefit from savings of £750 to £950, depending on model and specification. The reductions apply across multiple trims, including Match, Elegance, R-Line and Black Edition variants.

For fleets, the appeal lies in a combination of strong electric-only range and everyday usability. Passat eHybrid models offer up to 82 miles of electric range (WLTP), while Tiguan and Tayron eHybrids deliver up to 75 miles and 74 miles respectively. All can rapid charge at up to 40kW DC, taking the battery from 5-80% in around 26 minutes.

Power outputs range from 204PS to 272PS, with 0–62mph times from just over 7 seconds, while boot space remains competitive - from 490 litres in the Tiguan up to 705 litres in the Tayron.

The revised pricing strengthens Volkswagen’s eHybrid proposition for drivers looking to cut fuel use without going fully electric.
