Ford is enhancing its compact electric van line up with a larger 46kWh battery for the E Transit Courier and E Tourneo Courier.
The revised battery increases driving range by 10%, delivering up to 207 miles in the E Transit Courier and 199 miles in the passenger focused E Tourneo Courier. The upgraded models will enter production from summer 2026.

Charging performance has also improved. A 10% to 80% recharge now takes 26 minutes when using a 100kW rapid charger, helping reduce downtime for busy operators.
Connectivity is boosted with faster 5G internet access, while an upgraded Driver Alert System can identify signs of drowsiness, distraction or sudden illness.
The update follows similar improvements announced for the E Transit Custom last year, strengthening Ford’s electric van offer for fleets focused on range, safety and operational efficiency.
