
BYD has unveiled the ATTO 3 EVO, a significantly upgraded version of its electric family SUV, delivering increased range, more power and faster charging as part of a comprehensive refresh.
The updated model features a larger 74.8kWh battery, pushing range to up to 317 miles (WLTP) in rear-wheel-drive form, alongside a new 800V electrical architecture that supports 220kW DC charging. This enables a 10- 80% recharge in just 25 minutes, positioning the ATTO 3 EVO among the fastest-charging SUVs in its class.

Two drivetrains are available. The rear-wheel-drive Design produces 313PS, achieving 0 - 62mph in 5.5 seconds, while the all-wheel-drive Excellence delivers a combined 449PS and cuts 0 - 62mph to 3.9 seconds, with a still-competitive 292-mile range. Both versions offer a 1,500kg braked towing capacity and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
Practicality has also improved, with a 490-litre boot and a new 101-litre front ‘frunk’, supporting family and fleet use alike. Built on BYD’s latest e-Platform 3.0 with Blade Battery technology, the EVO also benefits from upgraded suspension and enhanced cabin tech.
Orders are now open, with first deliveries expected in spring.
