Cupra Raval pricing confirmed and it might be more affordable than you expected

Cupra has confirmed UK pricing for the new Raval, with the compact electric hatchback set to start from £23,785 when it arrives this summer.

That places it firmly in the emerging affordable EV segment, competing with models like the Renault 5 and Vauxhall Corsa Electric. It also comes in slightly higher than early expectations, which had suggested a starting price closer to £22,000.

For fleets, the key shift here is clarity on positioning. At under £24k, the Raval sits within reach as a lower-cost EV, particularly if it qualifies for the UK Government’s electric car grant, which could reduce the price by up to £3,750.

Range varies from around 186 miles to 280 miles depending on battery choice, covering typical urban and suburban duty cycles. A relatively large 430-litre boot also adds practicality beyond what is typical for this segment.

The bigger question is whether cars like the Raval can balance cost with driver appeal. Cupra is clearly betting that design and driving experience will matter, even at the more affordable end of the market.
