BYD's premium brand Denza has confirmed UK pricing for its first model, the Z9GT, with the luxury shooting brake arriving from £95,000 in plug-in hybrid form and £105,000 as a fully electric model.
Positioned to rival premium performance models such as the Audi e-tron GT and Porsche Taycan, the Z9GT combines executive luxury with cutting-edge electrified technology.
Key figures
- From £95,000 (plug-in hybrid)
- From £105,000 (electric)
- Up to 373 miles WLTP range (EV)
- 126 miles electric-only range (PHEV)
- 0-62mph in 2.7 seconds (EV)
- Flash charging from 10-70% in five minutes
- One year of free access to Denza's Flash Charging network

Both models feature a triple-motor drivetrain, while the plug-in hybrid pairs its electric motors with a 2.0-litre petrol engine to extend long-distance capability.
Inside, the Z9GT offers a high-end cabin with massage seats, multiple digital displays, augmented reality head-up display and advanced driver assistance technology, while rear-wheel steering and adaptive air suspension are designed to improve both handling and everyday manoeuvrability.
For fleets, the Z9GT is unlikely to be a volume company car, but it signals the growing ambition of Chinese manufacturers in the premium market. Its combination of long electric range, ultra-fast charging and executive refinement provides another alternative for senior executives and businesses considering high-performance electrified vehicles.
