Managing seasonal fleet spikes can drive up hire volumes, admin time and damage recharges. During the 2025–26 peak period, Nexus Rental reports record performance that points to measurable operational gains for fleet customers.
The B2B vehicle and plant hire specialist delivered a 25% year on year increase in vehicles supplied, equating to more than 7,000 units during peak. At the same time, it prevented 15% of damage claims from being recharged, directly reducing avoidable costs for clients.
Central to the uplift was further investment in its Iris platform. A new bulk group update tool allows large scale booking amendments to be processed quickly, cutting manual administration during high demand periods.
To meet volume requirements, Nexus worked with more than 150 supply partners.
Yvonne Palmer, supply chain director of Nexus Rental, said: “Our peak season performance is a testament to the strength of our supplier partnership network and the quality we deliver together.”
For fleets facing fluctuating demand, the case highlights how supplier scale and smarter booking tools can protect uptime and control hire related spend.
