Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the next-generation GLB, a family-sized electric SUV aimed at operators needing space, flexibility and meaningful long-range efficiency, with UK-specific details still to come. The model launches internationally in spring 2026, with the first variants delivering an electric range of up to 392 miles WLTP.
Two electric versions will be available at launch:
GLB 250+ – the long-range option, capable of up to 392 miles on a full charge and powered by an 85kWh battery.
GLB 350 4MATIC – a twin-motor model that adds extra grip for poor weather and light off-road use, offering stronger performance with all-wheel drive.

Both use an 800-volt system, allowing approximately 161 miles of range to be added in 10 minutes at compatible DC chargers. With a two-tonne towing capacity, the GLB becomes one of the few electric SUVs capable of pulling a full-size caravan or trailer.
Inside, the GLB debuts Mercedes-Benz’s new E/E Architecture+, enabling over-the-air updates, advanced driver assistance and Google built-in across all trims. Available with five or seven seats, expanded headroom and up to 1,715 litres of load space, it is designed to support multi-use operational needs.
Full UK pricing, specifications and fleet-relevant efficiency data will be confirmed closer to its 2026 launch.
