MG has strengthened its MG4 EV line-up with the launch of the new MG4 EV Urban and updates across the existing range, keeping affordability firmly in focus.
The MG4 EV Urban becomes the brand’s most accessible electric hatchback, with prices starting from £23,495. Designed as a practical family EV, it is offered in Standard Range and Long Range Comfort trims, with a Premium Long Range version priced at £27,995.

The updated 2026 MG4 EV range also benefits from improved interior quality, upgraded technology and sharper pricing. The Premium Long Range now starts at £29,995, reflecting a £2,750 price reduction, while the Premium Extended Range offers up to 338 miles (WLTP) from a single charge. The dual-motor MG4 EV XPOWER remains the performance flagship, delivering 320kW from £33,995.
David Allison, director of product and planning at MG UK, said the MG4 EV continues to prove that electric driving can be accessible “for the many rather than the few”.
All MG4 EV and Urban models are supported by a 7-year or 80,000-mile warranty, adding reassurance for buyers.
