Mitsubishi confirms Outlander PHEV and L200 return for UK fleets in 2026

Mitsubishi has confirmed that two of its best-known nameplates — the Outlander PHEV and L200 double cab pick-up — will return to the UK market in summer 2026, with initial availability limited at launch.

Both models build on strong fleet pedigrees. Since its launch in 2014, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has been the best-selling PHEV in its class for the past decade, with more than 50,000 cumulative UK registrations. The all-new version is larger than before and uses an enhanced 2.4-litre petrol engine paired with front and rear electric motors, delivering a combined output of over 300hp and a driving range of over 500 miles. For the first time in the UK, a seven-seat Outlander PHEV will also be available — broadening its appeal to business and public-sector fleets.

Alongside it, the new L200 Series 7 arrives as the “most capable L200 ever”, following more than 180,000 UK sales since the model’s introduction. It features a reengineered 2.4-litre bi-turbo diesel engine and Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD-II system with seven driving modes for demanding site and utility work.

UK pricing and specifications will be confirmed closer to launch.
