VW has introduced enhanced specifications and new entry-level price points across its Golf, ID.3, ID.4 and ID.5 ranges.
Two popular trims in the Golf line-up, Match and Black Edition, are now available with new engines.
- The Golf Match, reintroduced in early 2024, features Volkswagen's second-generation eHybrid plug-in hybrid powertrain, and is priced at £36,140. It offers over 88 miles of electric-only range using a 19.7kWh battery, rechargeable at up to 11kW AC or 40kW DC. Standard features include 17-inch alloys, LED headlights, adaptive cruise control and Climatronic air conditioning.
- The Golf Black Edition features 150PS 1.5 eTSI mild hybrid and 2.0 TDI diesel options with seven-speed DSG gearboxes, priced at £33,690 and £35,500.
- The ID 3 adds Pure Essential and Pure Match trims, featuring a 52kWh battery, 170PS motor, and a 240-mile range. Prices are £30,850 and £32,210.
- The ID 4 Pure Match now includes 19-inch alloys and costs £39,550
- The ID 5 Pure Match starts at £41,050, with a 222-mile range.
- New GTX Editions for the ID 4 and ID 5 introduce premium features, priced at £52,205 and £53,705.
