No home charger? Allstar’s Chargepass update could be the fix

Allstar has expanded its Chargepass product with a new ‘near-home charging’ solution, designed to give fleet drivers without home chargers reliable overnight access to nearby residential charge points.

The service is delivered through an exclusive partnership with Co Charger. It connects drivers to a growing network of neighbourhood hosts, offering guaranteed access once booked and payments made via the Allstar Chargepass card. Fleet managers benefit from automatic cost tracking and HMRC-compliant invoicing through Allstar Online.

The model helps reduce driver downtime and can cut charging costs by more than 40% compared with public charging.

Tom Rowlands, managing director of Global EV Solutions at Allstar, said: “Chargepass has become a solution that supports fleets wherever charging happens — near home, on the road or at home.”

FleetWise interviewed Rowlands for its 100 Trusted Brands in Fleet Report, where he discussed Allstar’s strategy for simplifying the EV transition.
