Octopus has introduced a new bundled offering designed to make fleet electrification easier for businesses at any stage of the journey.
Called Octopus Fleet, the solution allows operators to mix and match services including fleet payment tools, home and public charging, energy tariffs, and the installation of EV chargers, solar panels and batteries.
The package also includes a new Home Charging Reimbursement scheme, designed to remove the admin burden of paying drivers back for business mileage. Drivers plug into a compatible home charger, select business or personal use, and Octopus automatically credits their energy account each month for business charging. All data is consolidated into a single fleet invoice.
The offer brings together products such as the Electroverse network, providing access to more than 1.3 million charge points across 50 countries, a Fleet Charging Card, and a Visa powered Business Payments Card.
Matt Davies, director of Octopus Electroverse and Octopus Fleet, said: “Choosing an electric vehicle is easier than ever… With Octopus Fleet we’re offering a ‘menu’ of simple products that make sense regardless of how a fleet operates.”
The launch follows Octopus’s Plunge Pricing innovation, offering discounts of up to 50% when surplus green energy is available on the grid.
