The UK's Electric Car Grant continues to expand, with the Hyundai Kona Electric, BMW iX1 and BMW iX2 among the latest models to qualify for the full £3,750 incentive.
Hyundai's Kona Electric has moved from the lower grant band following a review of its manufacturing and supply chain, while BMW has reduced pricing on selected iX1 and iX2 models to bring them below the scheme's £37,000 price threshold.
The latest additions give fleet managers and company car drivers more choice across both mainstream and premium EV segments.

Latest models to qualify for the full grant:
- Hyundai Kona Electric – now eligible for the full £3,750 grant, with prices from £31,250 after the incentive and a WLTP range of up to 319 miles.
- BMW iX1 eDrive20 – from £33,315 after the grant, offering up to 318 miles of range.
- BMW iX2 eDrive20 – also available from £33,315, combining coupe-SUV styling with the same improved electric range.
For fleets, the expanded list strengthens the business case for electric company cars. The Kona Electric remains one of the market's most practical family SUVs, while the BMW iX1 and iX2 bring premium brand appeal within reach of more company car drivers.
With more than 50 models now eligible for the Electric Car Grant, fleets have an increasing choice of vehicles that combine lower upfront costs with competitive range, technology and whole-life running costs.
