Vauxhall Astra with updated mileage, price and facelifted

Vauxhall has confirmed pricing and specifications for the updated Astra, on sale from June, with improved EV range, revised tech and unchanged entry pricing.

The Astra Electric now delivers up to 282 miles (WLTP) from a 58kWh battery – 22 miles more than before – and adds Vehicle-to-Load capability. It retains a 156PS motor. Plug-in hybrid models offer 52 miles electric range and 196PS, while the 1.2-litre hybrid produces 145PS.

Prices start at £29,535 for the hybrid, with electric versions from £29,930. BiK rates for 2026/27 are 4% (electric), 10% (plug-in hybrid) and 28% (hybrid), keeping the EV variant competitive as a company car.

Three trims are offered. Entry-level Griffin includes heated seats, adaptive cruise control and a 10-inch infotainment system. GS and Ultimate add larger alloys, enhanced comfort features and driver assistance tech.

The update also introduces Intelli-Lux HD headlights and revised interior materials.

For fleets, the Astra remains a flexible, lower-cost route into electrification, particularly where a mix of powertrains is still required.
