Workplace charging grants end soon…

Firms have just 68 days left, from today (23 January 2025) to claim up to £350 per charging socket from the Government’s Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS).
The incentive, managed by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), has a deadline of 31 March 2025, so businesses have just over two months left to claim.
WCS continues to support businesses in installing electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, offering financial assistance covering up to 75% of the cost of purchasing and installing charging points. The incentive is capped at £350 per socket for a maximum of 40 sockets across all the business’ sites, for example, 20 sites could have two sockets each.
Charge points must be fitted by an OZEV-approved installer. Click here to find your nearest one.
With 37% of fleets looking for third-party support to install workplace chargers this scheme has proved popular and is well worth investigating before it ends. There has been no commitment from the government to extend the scheme.
