Dacia has opened UK order books for the enhanced 2026 Spring, with prices starting from £12,240 on-the-road after applying Dacia’s £3,750 Electric Car Grant. That keeps Spring firmly positioned as the UK’s most affordable new electric car, even as it gains meaningful upgrades aimed at everyday use.
The updated model introduces new 70 hp and 100 hp electric motors, delivering noticeably stronger performance than before. A revised chassis, suspension and braking set-up are designed to improve ride comfort and driver confidence, particularly in urban and short-hop fleet use.

Power comes from a new 24.3 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, offering a WLTP range of up to 140 miles — enough to cover a typical working week for many drivers. A 40 kW onboard DC charger enables a 20–80% recharge in just 29 minutes, reducing downtime between duties.
Inside, all versions now feature a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, while Extreme models add a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity.
Luke Broad, Dacia Brand Director for the UK, said: “With the introduction of our Dacia Electric Car Grant, it makes buying and owning a Spring even more affordable… it really doesn't require a leap of faith to go electric.”
Deliveries are expected from spring 2026.
