Global electric car sales 2014-2024
The Global EV Outlook is a yearly report that tracks the latest progress in electric mobility worldwide, produced with input from members of the Electric Vehicles Initiative (EVI).
The report is a crucial tool for convincing resistant business leaders of the unstoppable direction of travel of the zero emissions 'movement', and of the financial benefits and strategic advantages it can deliver to companies, through their fleet and sustainability agendas, and via tax breaks for staff.
Using up-to-date data, it explores key trends in electric vehicle uptake, battery demand and charging infrastructure growth. The report also examines recent policy shifts and industry strategies influencing the EV landscape across global markets. This edition includes insights into EV affordability, the manufacturing and trade of electric cars and batteries, and the total cost of ownership for electric heavy-duty trucks in various regions. It also offers projections looking ahead to 2030.
