Mazda will introduce an all-new CX-5 to UK fleets next spring, bringing the brand’s first application of its Mazda E/E Architecture+ (EEA+) — the platform that will underpin Mazda’s future software-defined vehicles. The new model pairs a 2.5-litre e-Skyactiv G petrol engine with Mazda M Hybrid technology, giving operators a more efficient alternative to outgoing ICE versions, with full UK performance and economy data due early next year.

Mazda EEA+ unifies the vehicle’s control units, software and communication layers, enabling over-the-air updates, more advanced driver assistance systems and a redesigned human–machine interface aimed at reducing driver distraction. All versions gain a 10.25-inch digital cluster, larger head-up display and a new 12.9- or 15.6-inch centre screen.

In a first for Mazda, Google built-in is standard across the range, launching with Google Assistant and set to upgrade to Google Gemini. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and the MyMazda app also feature, supporting connected-fleet oversight.
Mazda says the cabin has been shaped around clarity and quick-glance usability, with physical controls retained for essential functions. Pricing and WLTP efficiency figures will follow ahead of the model’s UK arrival in spring 2026.
