2027 Hyundai Tucson unveiled | Bolder styling, high tech cabin

Fleets shopping in the mid-size family SUV segment have consistently shortlisted the Hyundai Tucson. Now, there's a new one - and it's radically different from the outgoing model.

The Korean giant's rival to cars such as the Toyota RAV-4 and Volkswagen Tiguan is designed to stand out in the segment, notably from its boxier, off-road-esque design than before as well as its minimalist interior.

The Tucson has enjoyed success in the UK market, consistently raking in the top 10 best-selling cars lists for the last four years.

Powertrain details haven't been revealed, but we can expect similar offerings to the outgoing Tucson, consisting of pure-petrol, mild hybrid, self-charging and plug-in hybrid units.

Inside, the cabin of the Tucson is a radical departure from the outgoing model. It adopts a more minimalist design with a large touchscreen dominating the central dashboard, along with the cockpit gauges housed in a strip sitting above the steering wheel.

What's more, it's 180mm longer and 40mm wider than the outgoing model, to which Hyundai says it offers the best interior space in its class.

For fleets, the new Tucson represents a new direction for Hyundai's family SUV. Out with the conservative approach and in with a striking new one. It fits in-line with Hyundai's portfolio of stand-out cars, including the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 3 and Inster models.
