Toyota has refreshed its popular Yaris Cross, with the updated compact SUV now on sale in the UK from £27,445.
It faces strong competition in the increasingly crowded B-SUV market, including the Ford Puma and a growing number of Chinese-built alternatives, such as the Chery Tiggo 4 and Jaecoo E5.
The facelift version brings multiple styling changes, an upgraded cabin and a re-worked 1.5-litre hybrid powertrain, which now produces 130bhp. Official fuel economy is rated at up to 64.1mpg, remaining it as one of the most efficient small SUVs on sale.

The revised Yaris Cross is available in four trim levels – Icon, Design, Excel and GR Sport – with front-wheel drive standard across the range. In Excel guise, you can even get all-wheel drive for an extra £2,350.
Technology and safety equipment have also been enhanced. All models feature a digital instrument display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while higher-specification versions gain larger displays and additional driver assistance features
For fleets, the Yaris Cross continues to offer the appeal of a compact SUV without being too large for urban use. Its efficient hybrid powertrain, compact dimensions Toyota's strong reputation for reliability make it a car worth considering for businesses looking to balance driver appeal with day-to-day running costs.
