The most reliable SUVs on UK roads have been revealed by Warranty Solutions Group (WSG), based on over 2750 vehicle repair claims made between June 2024 and May 2025. Among the 20 most popular models analysed, the Toyota RAV4 came out on top with the lowest claim rate of 9.68% and an average repair cost of £825.28.

The Ford Puma followed closely with a 10.48% claim rate and average repair bill of £800.07. The Volvo XC40, Dacia Duster and Skoda Karoq also performed well.

At the other end of the list, premium models like the Land Rover Discovery, Jaguar I-Pace and BMW X5 proved the least reliable, each with claim rates above 30%. The Discovery had the highest rate at 41.56%, while the I-Pace had the most expensive average repair cost of £1183.54.

Despite slightly higher claim rates, the Duster and Karoq were among the cheapest to repair, up to 45% cheaper than top performers.
