Second-gen Volkswagen T-Roc opens for orders as updated model lands in the UK

Volkswagen has opened UK order books for the second-generation T-Roc, with sales starting on 8 January and prices from £31,620 on-the-road. The refreshed compact SUV replaces one of the brand’s strongest performers, with more than two million T-Rocs sold globally since 2017.

Available initially in Life, Style and R-Line trims, the new model brings a revised exterior design, a more spacious interior and a broader suite of driver assistance systems. The cabin gains a 12.9-inch infotainment screen as standard, optional head-up display and a larger 475-litre boot, while higher trims add features such as massage seats and Digital Cockpit Pro.

At launch, power comes from two 1.5-litre eTSI mild hybrid petrol engines producing 116PS or 150PS, paired with a seven-speed DSG gearbox. Volkswagen has also confirmed that an all-new full hybrid powertrain will follow later in the lifecycle.

Built on the MQB evo platform, the T-Roc also introduces new technology options including Park Assist Pro with remote parking functionality.
