XPeng targets company car drivers with L03 SUV

XPeng is expanding its UK line-up with the L03, a new electric SUV due to arrive in 2027 that could become an attractive option for fleets looking beyond more established brands.

Expected to start from around £35,000, the coupé-style SUV will sit below the XPeng G6 and compete with models such as the Tesla Model Y and Škoda Enyaq Coupé. Buyers will be able to choose between a fully electric version and a range-extender hybrid, broadening its appeal to fleets at different stages of electrification.

The electric model is expected to offer between 276 and 323 miles of range, while the range-extender variant is targeting more than 600 miles between refuelling and charging. The L03 will also tow up to 1,500kg, making it a practical option for some business users.

Inside, a 15.6-inch touchscreen, minimalist cabin and over-the-air software updates reflect XPeng's technology-focused approach. The SUV will also feature the manufacturer's latest driver assistance systems, with more advanced automated driving functions planned for Europe from 2027.

For fleet operators, the L03 is another sign that Chinese manufacturers are rapidly expanding their product ranges. As competition intensifies, buyers are likely to benefit from greater choice, increasingly sophisticated technology and more competitive pricing when reviewing future company car policies.
