EV charging platform Fuuse has introduced a new automated home reimbursement system designed to make energy repayments for fleet drivers simpler, faster, and fully compliant.
Traditionally, businesses have relied on manual reimbursement processes — often slow, error-prone, and vulnerable to fraud. Fuuse’s new solution removes that administrative burden by reimbursing costs directly to drivers’ energy accounts, ensuring accuracy and transparency for both fleets and employees.
Each transaction generates a VAT-compliant invoice, accounting for variable home energy tariffs and providing verifiable data for tax and compliance purposes. Real-time information from energy suppliers is used to calculate precise session costs, while linked chargers confirm when business-related vehicles are being charged.
“Home charging is a vital part of the fleet ecosystem,” said Michael Gibson, CEO of Fuuse. “By automating driver reimbursement, we’re making home charging a more practical, equitable option for returning fleets.”
The feature follows a successful pilot with one of the UK’s largest energy suppliers and will roll out further through 2026 as Fuuse expands its home, workplace, and public charging network.
