Fleet operators now have another long-range, grant-eligible EV to consider, as Nissan confirms pricing for the all-new, British-built LEAF 75kWh. The model qualifies for the UK Government’s £3,750 Electric Car Grant, bringing the entry price down to £32,249 and making it one of the most affordable 300-mile-plus EVs currently on the market.
The Sunderland-built LEAF offers up to 386 miles (WLTP) on a single charge, with production beginning in December and first deliveries expected in February. It becomes the fourth model to receive the higher-level grant, alongside the Citroën e-C5 Aircross Long Range, Ford Puma Gen-E and E-Tourneo Courier.

James Taylor, Nissan GB Managing Director, said: “This pricing… will deliver an accessible route to EV ownership… with up to 386 miles of range, all the tech they could want and the real-world benefits that come from Nissan’s 15 years of EV expertise. Best of all, it’s proudly built right here in the UK.”
The grant applies to EVs priced under £37,000, with at least 100 miles of range and both vehicle and battery warranties meeting government minimums. Manufacturers also need an approved science-based target and low embodied-carbon scores.
The new LEAF will be offered in four trims — Engage, Engage+, Advance and Evolve. Standard kit on Engage includes an 11kW AC charger, heat pump, ProPilot with Navi-link, dual 12.3-inch displays and 18-inch alloys.
A 52kWh version with up to 271 miles of range will follow, with pricing to be confirmed.
