JLR is set to strengthen its electric vehicle portfolio later this year with the launch of the Range Rover Sport Electric, giving fleets another premium zero-emission option in the executive SUV market.
Arriving alongside the long-awaited Range Rover Electric in September, the new model marks another milestone in JLR's transition towards electrification. Both vehicles share the same platform and in-house developed electric powertrain, producing 550PS and pairing it with a 118kWh battery expected to deliver around 300 miles of range.
From the outside, the Sport Electric remains deliberately familiar, with only subtle styling changes distinguishing it from its petrol and diesel counterparts.

Expected to start at around £100,000, it will compete with upcoming rivals including the BMW iX5 and Porsche Cayenne Electric.
For fleets operating executive vehicles, the arrival of another premium electric SUV increases choice in a segment that has traditionally been slower to electrify. It also demonstrates how manufacturers are now extending electric powertrains across established model ranges rather than developing standalone EVs, making the transition easier for drivers moving away from combustion-engine vehicles.
