Kia has confirmed that its EV4 hatchback and PV5 Passenger are the brand’s first vehicles to qualify for the UK Government’s Electric Car Grant, reducing upfront costs for fleets and private buyers alike.
All EV4 ‘Air’ variants and PV5 Passenger ‘Essential’ and ‘Plus’ grades qualify for £1,500 off the on-the-road price under Band 2 of the scheme, applying across both available battery options. With the grant applied, the EV4 now starts from £33,245, while the PV5 Passenger is priced from £31,495.

Paul Philpott, President & CEO of Kia UK, said the move supports Kia’s aim to make electric mobility “accessible, practical, and affordable”, particularly as the brand expands its business-focused electric offering.
The EV4 offers up to 388 miles of range in ‘Air’ specification, positioning it as a strong long-range option for company car fleets. Meanwhile, the five-seat PV5 Passenger targets multi-occupancy and service use, offering up to 256 miles of range and standard ADAS safety systems.
Orders for both models are being handled through Kia’s PBV Centres, which focus on fleet and business customers buying and operating electric vans and passenger vehicles.
