Geely is expanding its UK line up with the Starray EM i Super Hybrid, a new plug in hybrid SUV set to arrive in February. It will sit alongside the all electric EX5, giving fleets and private buyers a lower cost route into electrified driving.
Priced from £29,990, the Starray EM i focuses on value, technology and electric only usability. Depending on version, it offers up to 84 miles of electric range, helped by a larger 28.9kWh battery in the range topping Ultra model. Entry versions use an 18.4kWh battery. All models combine a 1.5 litre petrol engine with an electric motor.

Three trims will be offered. Pro, Max and Ultra, all with a large central touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated electric front seats and a full suite of safety systems. Higher grades add a head up display, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting and a panoramic roof.
Every Starray EM i comes with an eight year or 125,000 mile warranty, strengthening its appeal for cost conscious fleet drivers.
