XPENG will introduce its updated G6 to the UK in Q1 2026, priced from £39,990 OTR. The launch comes as the UK car market rapidly diversifies: more than a dozen new EV brands have entered the UK since 2019, reshaping competition and widening choice for fleets.
The headline model is the AWD Performance Black Edition, producing 358kW and 660Nm for a 0–62mph time of 4.13 seconds. A new 80.8kWh LFP battery supports 451kW peak charging, enabling a 10–80% charge in just 12 minutes — the fastest in its segment. XPENG says the new chemistry boosts battery lifespan by 30% while removing cobalt, nickel and manganese.

XPENG has implemented over 20,000 refinements, improving chassis behaviour, NVH, winter efficiency and overall ride stability. Exterior updates include a new 1942mm Starlight LED light bar, cleaner rear diffuser and revised aero elements. Inside, materials and lighting have been upgraded, alongside 50W×2 wireless charging and a new digital rear-view mirror.
Practicality remains strong, with 571 litres of boot space and rear seats that recline 12 ways. Safety upgrades include a reinforced 4-3-4 battery structure, ballistic-grade protection and the full XPILOT Assist suite.
