Mazda is discontinuing the 3 Saloon in the UK as part of a simplified line-up for its updated model range, arriving later this year.
The revised Mazda 3 range will be exclusively in hatchback form, ending UK sales of the saloon, while the engine choice is also being reduced to a single 140ps 2.5-litre e-Skyactiv G petrol unit featuring cylinder deactivation and mild-hybrid technology.
The 2027 line-up will comprise six trim levels: Prime-Line, Centre-Line, Homura, Exclusive-Line, Homura Plus and Takumi. A new Homura Plus grade joins the range, adding features including black leather upholstery, powered seats, a 360-degree camera and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.

Mazda has also confirmed enhanced active safety equipment across all 10 model configurations, including improved braking and lane-keeping assistance, alongside driver monitoring as standard.
The manufacturer says the changes will simplify customer choice while maintaining the Mazda3's appeal in the competitive family hatchback market.
UK sales of the Mazda 3, including the Saloon, have reached 28,664 since launching in 2019. Mazda says the updated range will arrive without a price increase over the previous model year.
