LEPAS has confirmed that its L8 SUV will be the first model introduced to the UK, with sales scheduled for Q3 2026.
The five seat SUV is built on Chery International’s new New Energy Vehicle modular platform and enters one of the most competitive parts of the fleet market. Rivals are likely to include the Tesla Model Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, placing the L8 firmly in the mid size electric SUV category where whole life cost, safety credentials and driver appeal influence procurement decisions.
LEPAS says the L8 will feature an intelligent cabin, next generation driver assistance systems and engineering designed to meet global five star safety standards. These elements will be central to its pitch to both retail buyers and corporate fleets.
The brand began its European introduction in 2025, with further UK details including leadership appointments, aftersales support and, most importantly, pricing expected in the coming weeks.
