Mazda has used the Brussels Motor Show to unveil the all-new CX-6e, a mid-size electric SUV that slots into one of Europe’s most competitive EV segments. Set to arrive in the UK in late 2026 following a European launch this summer, the CX-6e will sit alongside the Mazda6e as part of the brand’s expanding battery-electric line-up.
Powered by a 78kWh battery, the rear-wheel-drive CX-6e delivers 258PS and a WLTP range of up to 300 miles, placing it squarely against established rivals such as the Tesla Model Y, Skoda Enyaq and Volkswagen ID.4. The CX-6e has DC rapid charging up to 195kW enabling a 10–80% top-up in 24 minutes.

Inside, a very large 26-inch touchscreen, head-up display and extensive ADAS package position the CX-6e as a practical family and fleet vehicle, while a 468-litre boot underlines its everyday usability. For fleets currently running diesel or hybrid CX-5s, the CX-6e represents Mazda’s most direct electric successor to date.
