Five years that changed fleet management

The first edition of 100 Trusted Brands in Fleet launched in 2022, just as fleets were entering one of the most challenging periods in their history.

Since then, fleet managers have navigated supply chain disruption, soaring fuel costs, rising interest rates, falling EV residual values and growing pressure to decarbonise. As a result, fleet management has evolved from a discipline focused on vehicle costs into one centred on managing operational risk, productivity, sustainability and compliance.

Today's decisions are rarely isolated. Vehicle funding, uptime, driver behaviour, emissions and cost control are increasingly interconnected, requiring a more strategic approach than ever before.

At the same time, connected vehicles, telematics and fleet software have transformed the amount of operational data available to decision-makers, helping fleets move from reactive management towards predictive planning.

Against this backdrop, trust has become a critical factor in supplier selection. Fleet managers need partners that can provide stability, expertise and support in a market defined by constant change.
